Fukamushi or "deep steamed" sencha is a traditional processing style used in Shiuzoka Japan. The tea has a richer, full bodied flavour than better known sencha as it is steamed for a longer period of time. The mouth feel is soft and round and the tea holds up well to multiple steepings. Because of the way the leaf is processed, it's also a great green tea to cold brew. Grown in Shiuzoka, Japan.
