Puerh tea is an aged, fermented, probiotic laden tea. Great for gut health, focused attention and...wait for it..hangovers! We're not sure of the science behind this but we can attest to it! The older and longer the Puerh is aged, (in the right conditions of course), the richer the tea tastes and the higher value it commands. Puerh is purported to be one of the best natural cholesterol fighters on the market. This shou (expedited fermentation) Puerh was harvested in the spring of 2012 and worked for several months before being packaged in October 2012. As it continues to ferment, the flavour mellows with age. This 9 year old tea has a rich full bodied flavour and can be steeped at least 4 times.

Dean Rowan My interest in tea is old, but not well exercised. Ordering tea outside of home was a total unknown, but a couple of years ago a trusted friend suggested I try jasmine tea (good quality loose) as a morning sipper and I began paying much more attention. The Pu-erh was an impulse buy, and a lucky one at that. Smells different than it tastes, and tastes both earthy and natural at the same time, a great combination. I'm pretty sure it has found a permanent spot in my cupboard of teas!
