The vibrant colour of this matcha reflects the rich, smooth taste of this ceremonial grade, summer harvest plant from the finest matcha tea growing region of Uji, Kyoto.

Good matcha, bad packaging (50g)

Received the matcha in a bag that wasn’t fully sealed (pressed it and a puff of air and matcha powder flew out). Inside the matcha bag there were white discoloured clumps of matcha which was also disappointing to see, not sure if it got mixed with some moisture while packaging it or what. Maybe it’s because it was the 50g bag (not sure if other sizes are in a tin), but this was pretty disappointing after all the good reviews I’ve read on here and been told by friends. The matcha itself thankfully tastes good, but can’t say I would purchase again given how poorly packaged and handled it seems (compared to other companies I’ve purchased from).

Love the matcha. Also got their earl grey tea. My family loves their tea so much. Will definitely buy again and support a lovely Canadian business!
