Flavour is pleasant, but tastes like a combination of flavours that come close to pear. I taste mostly banana and vanilla instead of a true pear. It's nice, but I would not repurchase.
Both my husband and I enjoy poached pear Brule very much. This was a replacement order. Lovely flavour for our afternoon tea.
